Going Blonde

Lord help me. Tonight I am going in for a long, arduous, life-changing event. Why I put so much trust in the woman (Molly is her name) who does my hair is baffling to me. I think I have more trust in her than God, and that says a lot since my complete and total dependence upon God has taken thee most upswing of strength and assurance this year.

Yet, she has complete control over my emotions. If she fails, I will fall miserably into the piths of despair.

On the other hand, if she does in fact succeed, then hopefully the saying, “Blondes have more fun” might actually be true for me. I surely hope so. Stay tuned. It happens tonight at 5:30 central. If you don't hear from me for a week or longer, then know I am in mourning. (or in hiding...)

Moving along, perhaps you’ve noticed a few changes in the right hand column over there... you know, to the right.

I’ve listed my latest posts; I’ve offered a way for you to subscribe to my posts; and of the utmost importance, I have finally started making boards on Pinterest. If you are interested in Pinterest, “follow” me. I am a designer, and if you haven’t already noticed, I have opinions.  My likes / dislikes are particular. The boards on Pinterest say more visually than I can communicate in words.

By the way, didn’t you just love that video I found in the post prior? In almost every line there is a connection to my Peanut. Especially the way the boy dances in the video. Can I just tell you how much I love that son of mine? I'm so glad I have him in my life. What a lucky duck I am.

That’s all for now. I have more to say about life, grief, moving on, happiness, spirituality, epikos et all, but there’s only so much I can write in these 15 minutes prior to starting my work day.

PS. Here are the only 2011 “brunette” photos of me. I'm not often devant lappareil photo nor lobjet de la photographie, therefor they are sparse.

  2. Hmmm, not sure what I think of this. I think you are SO beautiful the way you are and have always loved your hair. But, sometimes a change is really fun. Can't wait to see!

  3. Your brown hair looks great, blond is common and so yesterday.

  4. I don't know you but have commented before. I think it would be a mistake to go blonde. Highlights if you must, but the brown works with your skin tone and eyes. I would actually go darker rather.....

  5. Anonymous from above again: you have fabulous hair, one of your best features. Keep it healthy and shiny, bleaching will maybe not be so kind to it. Just my second two cents.

  6. Oh guys, you are all so sweet. Thank you. Maybe I should explain. I AM getting highlights. A ton of them. I guess it's as blonde as I'll ever get. If you google Kim Kardashian Blonde, you'll see what Molly will be doing (eventually)....

Molly went home sick on the 6th. And rescheduling has been a pain. I guess it will be a while longer before anything crazy happens.

    :)

    Thanks everyone.... :)
