To Fear or Not to Fear...
I have come to realize that as humans we are all inherently cowards, afraid of the truth, afraid of the what if, the past and present and future. We are all afraid of death and in many ways afraid of life. We have all these fears till the day we die. Only through acceptance of our imperfections, mistakes, misfortune can we stand tall to face this world instead of hiding behind that which we fear. We must stand equal with our fears, understand them. A great man once said there is nothing to fear but fear itself. That is true, but an even greater man has fears, embraces what he is afraid of and becomes stronger.
Think how batman started. haha

This is from my nephew James. Remember him? He's so young, but I think he is an old soul. :) I asked him if I could share this with you. He was wrote it in an email, and it really struck me. Like me, he tends to think deeply about things! He is very passionate and focused about whatever he does, is very very loving, giving and such a deep thinker. He's doing OK. He's back in school and busy as usual with tests, papers, etc etc etc. Please keep him in your prayers however. There're still another two surgeries to have.... one may be at Thanksgiving, or maybe at Christmas at the latest. I'll keep you posted.
