Faith looks up

He asked [her] if she saw anything. And [she] looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” Then He put His hands on [her] eyes again and he made [her] look up. And [she] was restored and saw everyone clearly.

Matthew 8: 23-24   New King James

Make no mistake. God can use all manner of circumstances, unmet expectations, and disappointments to make us look up. Oh, that we would not fight the touch of that healing hand on our chins, urging us to lift our faces to the sky. We are bereft of clear vision toward man — or woman — until we look up steadfastly at our wise and one and only God.

Beth Moore, So Long Insecurity p200

And I look up, I look up
on my knees and out of luck,
I look up
