Today I’m Grateful
God, I love that you are here.
I love that you gave me church.
I love that you gave me Maggie.
I love that you gave me Jeri.
I love that you gave me Sue, Cris, Jenny, Tracy and Julie.
I truly love those women.
I love that I have my father.
I love that I have Oliver.
Those are my gifts.
I love that you gave me GS.
I love that you gave me the GS website.
I love that you gave me this body, this face, this hair, these gifts of creativity, this quirky personality.
I love that you have surrounded me with friends, good friends, my life-long friends like Pamela, Debbie and Ann.
I love that you have given me passions.
I love that you have given me talents.
I love that you have helped me to become more healthy about food choices.
I love that I have the means, that you have provided a bountiful and plentiful life for me.
I love my Jetta. :)
I love the comfort of having a car that runs smoothly.
I love the stereo.
I love the Apple computer I have.
I love that you lead me to my blog.
I love that you gave me brains.
I love that you put Theresa in my life. Michele in my life. Joanne in my life.
I love that you helped me lose weight.
I love that you gave me the gift of learning how to be a better person.
I love that you gave me Little One, Zoe, and even Velvet.
I love that you allowed me to find Neroli and the conviction to take care of the looks you gave me.
I love that you helped me learn to save money.
I love that you helped me to stop spending recklessly.
I love that you arranged for me to own a cottage in Door County.
I love that you gave me smarts.
I love that you help almost everyone to see the good in me.
I love that you gave me a love with Matt.
I love that you allowed me to give birth to a child, with a partner, so that I could know what that feels like.
I love that you gave me a partner who got sober.
I love that you allowed us to find a better life together.
I love that you helped me find Dr Hall and to get the help I needed.
I love that you gave me a very interesting, cool mother.
I love that you gave me a mother-in-law who is wonderful also, someone who is somewhat like my own mother.
I love that you gave me a healthy child.
I love that you arranged to let me have a partner who is willing to bend, willing to pay many of our bills, and who loves our son tremendously.
I love that you have touched his life too, that you have worked in his life.
I love that you allowed me to feel some peace and comfort in the words my husband has said to me at times.
I love that you have given me beautiful books to find comfort in: my daily readers, the bible, emmet fox and others.
I love that you have given me hopes, dreams and strength when the lights were dim.
I love that you gave me size 7.5 feet.
I love that you gave me small bones.
I love that you gave me good people to work with, good leaders, good bosses.
I love that you allowed me to live this much of my life already without disease or health problems.
I have a good life. I am good. I am grateful for all that I have.
