Outdoors
We have to make sure we are outside as much as possible these days, since the weather has been absolutely gorgeous. Fall is crisp and cold, yet comfortably toasty in the sun. And there's been an abundance of sunshine lately (even in my heart).

Oliver exchange at the Milwaukee Art Museum this week proved to be a great entertainment for Oliver and sweet photo opp for me. The landscaped gardens are so beautiful and geometric as you can see from the photos.

As you can see, this is the new addition to our city's museum, the Calatrava. It's a magnificent and monumental piece of architecture, the first of its kind in the US; an exceptional engineering masterpiece. The Burke Brise Soleil or the wings you (partially) see above actually open and close each day. The museum sits upon the lake front and infuses the culture of the shore — the birds, the sails, the sky and the wind. Perhaps I'll post more photos of it another day. It's really incredible, and if you are ever in Milwaukee (and to those of you who live here), it's a must-see visit.
