Happy TEN!
Happy Anniversary to us! Happy Anniversary to us!
We are 10! Ten whole years of marriage. Ups. Down. Inbetweens! What a ride!
I was so surprised when I received the most glorious bouquet of roses at work today. More pix later. Gotta run now. We are driving to Chicago tonight for a most fabulous dinner!

My dear Matt,
Let me tell you how much I love you, how much I appreciate all the little (and big things) you do for me, for us.
First, I never tell you how much you mean to me. I am not the perfect wife, but I have always felt that I am so lucky to have you. You love me in the best of times and in the worst of times. Your loyalty to me is unwavering. There is simply no other man that I want. You love me despite my added pounds, despite my bad moods, despite my messiness, despite all that comes with a marriage....you love me in spite of, and for this I am so blessed to have a man like you in my life. You have my back.
Second, you bring me coffee each morning. Thank you so much for starting each and every day with me with a kiss! Thank you for holding my hand in the car, always. For taking me out to dinner almost every Friday night. :) For loving my father and my own family. Thank you for trying hard, so hard, to be the best husband you can be for me.
Third, you work hard. Thank you so much for that. I never tell you how much I appreciate it. We have a beautiful home. Sure, I am always envious of the larger ones down the street. But I am much more happy in this one as long as I have you and Oliver. We could live in a box (as long as we get to paint the interior a color I like!) and I'd be OK as long as I have our family.
Thank you for Switzerland. It's thee most beautiful country and together you have shown me so many parts of your homeland. I love it. I love the people. I love the chocolate! The watches (and even swatch watches!), the cheese, the mountains and the fields. Thank you, my love, for those things too.
Thank you for sharing your family with me. Your mother has become a mother to me in some ways, a good friend. I love your family, I love having another piece of you in my life.
Thank you for our cottage. I love it. Having a place to go with you, alone (with our little Peanut) has been such a blessing. I love traveling up there with you. When we are on the road I feel like I can finally relax and breathe. There is no other place on this earth I'd rather be than in your truck with you, with Oliver, traveling up to our little home away from home. When we are up there we are alone with each other, free from all the work and business of our everyday lives. Up there you can nap, I can garden and decorate, I can cook, we watch movies, we get to walk the beaches with our boy, we just get to be. This is the greatest most fun part of my life with you, being alone with you and our son. I feel the cottage has brought us closer in so many ways. Thank you for working so hard that we can afford this. Thank you for working so hard that we have this beautiful slice of paradise in our lives.
Thank you for Oliver, the best best gift you have ever given me. Parenting our little boy together has been one of the greatest joys on earth. I think I was born to be right here, right now, to share this privilege, this wonderful job with you. I hope we get to hold each other's hands forever, watching our son grow and become a man as great as you are, my dear, my dear dear husband. What an amazing father you are. I love you so much, especially when I get to watch you be a father.
I love you so much Matt. I could melt in your arms. There's no other place I'd rather be. Happy Ten years. You are the best. You are the love of my life and I am so glad to have you as my husband. I want no other.... ever.
All my love,
Andrea
