Follow up to the letter to Oliver's daycare

Matt and I finally met with the director of Oliver's day care center this morning. Oliver hasn't been scheduled at the center since I wrote my concerns, so this was the first chance we had to meet. We went thru each issue I wrote about and we were assured that each problem/concern had been addressed with Oliver's teacher. I wont go into the details of that conversation, but I do have to say, both Matt and I were satisfied placing him back into the infant room with the same teacher.

Lunchtime update: I fed Oliver at lunch today. When I walked in, the teacher was on the floor, interacting with him and another baby. It was sweet. There were no other children in his room today, so it's just the two babies. I was satisfied with what I saw. I hope this is how it will be from now on.

Because, we wont hesitate to pull him out if we have to. We do like the center, the people there are sweet and friendly, and the atmosphere is basically very nice. The rooms have daylight in them, there are nice large play areas, and it's not too crazy in general even tho there are a good number of classrooms. But this is our little baby, and in his good days and even his bad, we want him to be well-taken-care-of.

And boy, he looked so happy today. I absolutely love being a mom! I would have loved to spend the rest of the day with him but I felt reasonably OK going back into work today.
