Mothers Day
I'm thrilled and honored to be a mom today! We celebrated like a regular family would and I was wished a million times over by waiters, bus boys, clerks, friends and by my own family "Happy Mother's Day"..... and it all was very, very good.
Except that in my heart it's a bit different. There is a small me in there, whoopin' it up, dancing for joy, screaming out, "HOLY SHIT, I'M A MOM now! How did that happen!? Who thought that would be OK? I'm actually a mom???? .... more to than just the kitties? I'm trusted to do this? I've been given this child? Holy shit!"
