Fred Flinstone Feet
That's what I call my feet when they are swollen. They bear little resemblance to my own feet. Today they are not bad. I've only had Total Fred Feet once, where I could not believe what I was looking at. I'd never seen such plump footing before! It felt like a freak of nature that these feet were mine.
So, of course I freaked out. I arrived home from work that day, propped my feet up all evening and then stacked about 8 pillows at the end of my bed so I could sleep with my feet up (way up!) all night, being careful not to move, twist or turn them off the pile.
In the morning I flew out of bed and peered down. Back to normal. THANK GOD!
Since then, I've only had mild cases of Fred Feet..... and today is one of them. They are a little more plump than I'd like them to be.
Another symptom of the 8th month: severe heart burn. I mean SEVERE. Like someone is pouring acid down my throat. It wakes me up in the middle of the night. I prolly take 2 tums about 4-5 times a day. I guess I don't have to worry about my calcium.
When this is over, I hope I NEVER have to look or chew another Tums again for ever and ever.
